The Newton Ranch of Oklahoma is nestled deep in the Gloss Mountains of Oklahoma within driving distance of six state parks: Little Sahara State Park, Gloss Mountain StatePark, Boiling Springs State Park, Alabaster Caverns State Park, Great Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge and State Park, Roman Nose State Park, as well as Canton Lake.

Imagine the possibilities! Horseback Riding (with your horse or our horse), camping, birding, caving, fishing, digging selenite crystals, duneing, golfing, hunting or hayrides are all available, not to mention peace, privacy and relaxation!

HORSEBACK RIDING WITH OUR HORSE: We welcome riders at all levels of experience and provide basic riding instruction before the trail ride begins. During the ride our experienced guides will continue to help you refine your skills. We keep our stable small and exclusive so we can insure the quality of your equine partner. Our horses are chosen for attitude, skill and their ability to take care of their human partner! Safety is emphasized at all times.

HORSEBACK RIDING FOR THE HORSE OWNER: Saddle up for a memorable trail ride! Not only do we have beautiful scenery we have challenging trails! You will ride over natural rock bridges, creek beds and on trails that are even with the tree tops.

Our Canyon Trail is an especially challenging trail that traverses one deep canyon and mesa after another. A certified trail guide can take you on those special trails that are hard to find or you can ride on your own (you will be given a map). Access to Newton Ranch is by reservation only so please call ahead.
